Dr. Jefferson graduated from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry in 1998.  He then served for three years as a Dental Officer in the USAF stationed at Ramstein, Germany.  There he was mentored and received additional training in all specialties of dentistry.  He moved to Kitsap County in 2001 to begin private practice.

 

             Dr. Jefferson founded the Peninsula Group for Interdisciplinary Dentistry.  The group incorporates the best minds in Kitsap County in the specialties of Periodontics, Orthodontics, Endodontics and Restorative Dentistry.  Dr.’s Jefferson, Smith Macdonald, Johnson, Goessman, and Naumann and Johnson work closely together to review and treatment plan complex cases to obtain the best possible treatment options for our patients.  Dr. Jefferson believes this approach to dentistry provides excellent results.

             Dr. Jefferson enjoys boating, traveling, restoring old cars, skiing and snowboarding with his wife Marcy and his son Taylor. 

 

 

             Dr. Smith Macdonald obtained her periodontal certificate from USC in 1995 and obtained a Master’s certificate in Craniofacial Biology in 1997 from the same school.  She became a clinical assistant professor of graduate and undergraduate students at USC School of Dentistry from 1995 to 2002.

             In November 2002, Dr. Smith Macdonald moved to Bellevue, Washington and started her private practice in Periodontics.  In 2007 she joined the University of Washington as an affiliate clinical instructor in the department of graduate periodontics.  In the Fall of 2009 Dr. Smith Macdonald joined Dr. Jefferson’s practice part time.

             She has several national and international research publications, and has lectured nationally and internationally in advanced periodontics, diagnosis, and treatment techniques.
